Blurr Movie Review: Taapsee Pannu is really a blur – Gulshan Devaiah’s ‘Blurr’

Movie Review Blurr: Director Ajay Behl’s film ‘Blurr’, made under the banner of Zee Studios, Outsiders Films and Echelon Productions, is based on the life of two twin sisters. In this, a sister commits suicide. The other sister cannot believe that her sister has committed suicide. ‘Blur’ completely revolves around Gautami (Taapsee Pannu), who faces two major turning points in her life. One is the death of his twin sister and the other is his eye side which is getting weaker with age.

Initially everyone thinks that Gautami’s elder sister Gayatri took her own life as she too had lost her eye side, however Gautami finds it hard to believe and tries to find out the truth and confronts the police. Together they investigate the truth of this case, but during this he also feels that he too is seeing less. Everything seems blurred to him.

thriller, interesting story full of suspense
As the film progresses, its story becomes even more interesting. As the film progresses with twists and suspense, Taapsee appears to be more engrossed in her character. Although the film gets blurred in the execution process. Further it seems that director and co-writer Ajay Behl seems a bit confused here while focusing on the narration and style. It seems that a lot of the film has been presented to the audience without any execution. Some scenes seem mismatched. You will be seen entangled in many questions while flowing in the flow of the film. You will feel completely confused whether it is really made like this or is it the lack of execution of the film. You will also feel that the film relies heavily on jumpcares, even in places where it was not absolutely needed. Here, seeing the execution process of the film, you will feel that it is really a blur.

Horror also has a temper
Blur seems to lean towards being a thriller for most parts of the film, but Behl’s attempt to add a touch of horror leads to the story of Blur losing focus. This has been the biggest feature of his film. The second part of the film is a scene in which Gautami dreams which looks like a horror scene from Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover’s horror film ‘Alone’. Here it seems that the director has tried to give it the flavor of horror.

Superb acting by Taapsee and Gulshan
You will find the acting of both the lead stars of the film Taapsee and Gulshan Devaiah quite impressive. Taapsee looked very good in her double role. Even though Gulshan got less screen space in the film, you will like his acting. The cinematography in the film is superb. You will find the background music and dialogues very fine. Overall, this film will seem time-consuming.
